Achievements

ACHIEVEMENTS : 2018-2019

 

1. RC Delhi-3 has emerged as one of the largest Regional Centre in the country in terms of student enrolment (July 2018). Our rigorous publicity campaigns and meetings with Coordinators and PICs for enhancing the enrolment have resulted into increase of more than 25% from 34041 in July 2017 to 41180 learners in July 2018 session. There is a substantial increase in the registration for programmes at all levels, in July 2018 cycle in comparison to July, 2017 cycle. Out of the total admissions, Bachelor’s Degree Programme and Master’s Degree Programme, together account for approximately 85.32% followed by Cerificate and Diploma Programmes constituting 8.74% and 5.93% respectively.

 

2. Seven students of RC Delhi-3 were awarded University Gold Medal for their meritorious performance during 32nd Convocation held on 3rd April, 2019.

 

3. A total of 5437 degrees were awarded for Masters and Bachelors programmes at the 32nd Convocation.

 

4. Regional Centre hosted a Korean delegation in June 2018 for the launch of CKLC programme.

 

5. Regional Centre manages a Learner Support Centre (SC-38039) in its premises with total student enrolment of approximately 2500 in MAPC, MAAN, MAPY, BPP, CJL, CKLC, CRUL, CIG etc. Regional Centre has two Jail Study Centres in its jurisdiction with a total student strength of about 1500 students.

 

6. Coordinated as Nodal RC, the participation of RCs of Delhi NCR in Delhi Government Career Conclave held from January 28-31, 2019 at Thyagraj Stadium, New Delhi, for XII class students of Schools of Delhi Govt.

 

7. As per Ayushman Bharat, a flagship programme of Govt. of India, a programme study centre at Faculty of Nursing, SGT University, Gurugram, was established for BPCCHN programme for Registered Nurse and Registered Mid Wife(RN/RM) and Registered Ayurveda Graduates.

 

8. Conducted Orientation Programme for Examination Centre Superintendents/ Observers on 29th May 2018 (June, 2018TEE) and on 30th November, 2018 (December, 2018 TEE) for smooth conduct of Theory Term End Examinations Also meeting of Examination Supdts of Practical Examination Centre from conducting CIT, BCA and MCA TEPE June, 2018 was held on 22nd June, 2018 and for TEPE December, 2018 , on 5/1/2019.

 

9. The Regional Centre and the Study Centres have been extensively making use of e-mails and SMS services to the learners for providing various learners’ support related information / updates for facilitating the study.

 

10. An effective and prompt student grievance redressal mechanism is strictly followed to ensure expeditious alleviation of student problems.
