•  Academic Theory Counseling/ Practical Counseling Session Schedules are specific for each of the Study centres and are currently being conducted through Online/Virtual mode to optimise student learning.  Learners are advised to carefully go through the counseling schedule of their study centre and join the sessions through the links provided therein. 

•  Please note that the counseling sessions are basically doubt clearing sessions which provides the learners an opportunity to have a broad understanding of the subject covered. Besides, it also helps the learners to discuss and clarify their doubts and understand the difficult concepts of the subject matter with their Academic Counsellors. 

•  Generally, it is not compulsory to attend the theory counseling sessions, but for their own benefit, learners are always advised to join the counseling sessions so as to know what all needs to be done during the course of their learning at IGNOU. The attendance in the Practical Counseling Sessions is compulsory and is a prerequisite for eligibility to appear in the Practical examinations.

•  Learners are advised to go through their study materials, which is also available in soft copy under the eGyankosh link of IGNOU website, before attending these counseling sessions (theory/Practical) so as to participate effectively in the sessions and to learn/understand the course content.  IGNOU study materials are designed to be self sufficient as per the course component of the programme.
